About us
I’ve been a cannabis connoisseur for 20+ years and I’m old enough to remember not having much of a choice when buying cannabis and cannabis products. Today, with so many options, it’s important to me that the cannabis and cannabis products I consume and provide as a patient and caregiver are grown in the most natural, safe, and environmentally friendly way possible.
Growing in living soil allows organisms to mesh together and break down organic matter in their environment which, in turn, creates natural nutrition to plants and other surrounding organisms. The objective is to restore the soil to its natural state where it is full of nutrients, trace minerals, and microbes in a self sustaining ecosystem that replenishes through decomposition. This process eliminates the need for synthetic salt based nutrients. Through the use of beneficial insects, pesticides and other harmful chemicals are eliminated as well. Allowing cannabis to thrive in living soil means allowing the plant to tap into its ancient genetic code. It’s truly what the plant desires and Mother Earth intended. The results are beautiful, natural, buds rich in terpenes and cannabinoids.
Growing in living soil or “Regenerative Soil” also helps cannabis cultivators reduce their impact on the environment by using less water and fewer additional nutrients, as well as reducing waste. Living soil allows for the grower to reuse soil for many years. We are always working toward minimizing our carbon footprint and living soil empowers growers to consistently achieve higher yields and natural purity in an environmentally friendly way.
Our goal is to be a market for our favorite cannabis cultivators dedicated to the art of living soil in the state of Maine. That doesn’t mean there aren’t other great cultivators worth trying in Maine using other growing methods—there are! But if you’re looking for the most natural cannabis and cannabis products grown in an environmentally friendly way, you’ve come to the right place!
